Tennis Equipment Lending Program

A tennic racquet and a tennis ball.Three (3) locations of the Greater Sudbury Public Library now have tennis equipment to lend out to the public. Racquets come in two sizes - kids and adults.

Where Can I Pick Them Up

The following GSPL locations have tennis equipment:

  • Copper Cliff Public Library
    • One (1) family set of racquets (includes 2 adult racquets and 2 children's racquets)
    • One (1) set of adult racquets (includes 2 racquets)
    • One (1) set of one adult racquet and one children's racquet
    • Tennis balls
  • New Sudbury Public Library
    • One (1) family set of racquets (includes 2 adult racquets and 2 children's racquets)
    • Two (2) set of adult racquets (includes 2 racquets)
    • One (1) set of children's racquets (includes 2 racquets)
    • Tennis balls
  • Valley East Public Library
    • One (1) family set of racquets (includes 2 adult racquets and 2 children's racquets)
    • One (1) set of adult racquets (includes 2 racquets)
    • One (1) set of children's racquets (includes 2 racquets)
    • Tennis balls

Tennis equipment is checked out on a first-come, first-served basis, and may not be reserved in advance. Find tennis equipment in our catalogue!

How Long Do I Have Them?

You can check out tennis equipment for one week.

What Do I Need?

You will need to visit one of the three (3) locations that have tennis equipment and use a library card to sign them out. If you do not already have a library card, it is easy to get one.

You will also need to sign a waiver at the library at the time of pick up to borrow the tennis equipment.
