Story Time & Learn, Play, Create*

A librarian reading to childrenStory Time

Story Time is appropriate for your whole family, with books, songs, rhymes, movement activities and more! Hear stories, sing songs, play games and meet new people.

The Greater Sudbury Public Library recognizes the importance of literacy by presenting family Story Times, our contribution to the development of a child's love of reading and learning.

The Story Time program is designed to help develop a child's appreciation of language, rhythm and imagination through storytelling, puppetry, songs, finger plays and rhymes.

We combine stories with songs, stretches, fingerplays and puppets to give your child a rich and varied Story Time experience. The stories that staff choose to share include old favourites and new delights.

We happily encourage the adult care givers to participate with the children in all aspects of the program.

Note: Story Time and Learn, Play, Create end June 2nd, 2016.
