Kanopy

Kanopy is a video streaming service for quality, thoughtful entertainment. With your Greater Sudbury Public Library card, you can watch movies, documentaries, foreign films, classic cinema, independent films and educational videos that inspire, enrich and entertain.

Kanopy Kids is a curated collection of content for children, with a focus on ages 2-8. Content is age appropriate and allows for unlimited viewing (does not require tickets).

Kanopy partners with public libraries to bring you an ad-free viewing experience on your TV, mobile phone, tablet, or computer. To start watching, go to kanopy.com and sign up using your valid Greater Sudbury Public Library card number and PIN or password. There is no need to download an app or extension for your web browser. Tickets are used to play most videos on Kanopy. Each month, users receive 15 tickets. Tickets reset on the first day of the month. Unused tickets don’t roll over.
