Can be used for hiking, trekking, skiing, snowshoeing, and Nordic walking. Comes with 1 small basket for non-snow covered terrain and 1 large snow basket for snow covered terrain. All of our library branches have 2 pairs of hiking poles to loan out. Bring your library card, sign a waiver form at the library branch, and enjoy the outdoors! Hiking poles loans are for a 1-week period, so get outside, be active and explore nature!

Ontario Parks Day-Use Vehicle Permits

Ontario Parks has provided free vehicle permits for members of the Greater Sudbury Public Library to enjoy its network of provincial parks. Use your library card to borrow one of our provincial park passes from May 1 to December 31st.

Pickleball equipment

Snowshoe lending

Don't forget to get some fresh air! The Greater Sudbury Public Libraries have snowshoes to loan out - be sure to visit our branches and borrow some snowshoes.
