Forest of Reading
The Forest of Reading is a national reading program where kids pick the winning books! The program encourages students to discover and read Canadian authors, illustrators and publishers.
The Forest of Reading – Sudbury Edition is geared to students in grades 4-6, but all school-aged children are encouraged to participate if they feel comfortable with the reading material.
This year, GSPL is pleased to offer already curated Forest of Reading book bins to educators and parents who want to participate in the province-wide program. Each bin contains a complete set of the nominated titles for a prize, and access to the fun activities created especially by the Forest of Reading Committees.

Sudbury Edition 2024 Booklists
English booklist - This list includes the categories Blue Spruce, Silver Birch Express, Silver Birch Fiction, Yellow Cedar, and White Pine.
French booklist - This list includes the categories Prix Peuplier, Prix Mélèze and Prix Tamarac.
